After spending several years shaping boards on the side of his house under a tarp, Jed decided it was time to invest in an upgrade. Without much construction experience, the challenge was accepted and met within about two months. Clearing the space, digging out a tree stump and leveling the area was just beginning. Ensuring a level floor, a roof that doesn't leak and running electricity were all key to providing a creative space conducive to a better, more solid product.
Now, there is more freedom to shape throughout the year, any time of day and experiment with more colors and art. This allows Jed to pump out better boards, faster and go farther creatively. Just the recipe to ensure a steady flow of new surf craft to accommodate the next budding generation of surfers.
